What was operation Trident?

  In 1971, the war was on between India-Pakistan, and who was knowing that this war will be marked as the Greatest Victory of the Indian Navy in the history of the Indian Army. From the time India got freedom from British Rule, the navy force is continuously working for the security of the country’s coastal boundaries and it’s a pride for us that we have a strong historical event to celebrate the adventurous courage of our marine sharks had carried out. Operation Python - 1971

  After the successful completion of Operation Trident, and resting for a while the Indian Marine Sharks got their second mission, which was noted as the most important and remarkable victory of our   Indian Navy Army . The mission is well remembered as  “Operation Python”.  This operation was named Op. Python as this was the launch of attack on West Pakistan’s port city near or part of Karachi by the Indian Naval Sena in 1971 during the  Indo-Pakistan War . After the primary assault during operation trident   on the Port of Karachi, Pakistan ventured up airborne observation of its coast as the nearness of enormous Indian Navy ships gave the feeling that another assault was being arranged. Indian Navy MARCOS in 26/11 attack

The 26/11 Mumbai attacks were witness to raw courage on the part of eight Indian Navy Marine Commandos (MARCOS), who became the gamechangers in a battle that was being won by a group of terrorists creating havoc in India’s commercial hub. The MARCOS are among the fittest Indian special forces, usually deployed for the safety of oil installations or to counter pirates on the high seas. Who is Subedar Yogendera Singh Yadav

This brave soldier has the high honour of being the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. He received this award at the age of 19 for his actions on July 4,1999, during the Kargil war. Born in 1980 in Aurangabad Ahir village, Uttar Pradesh, Yadav showed immense courage during the war in 1999. He volunteered to capture three strategic bunkers on Tiger Hill, located at the top of a snowcapped vertical, snow-covered, 16,500 feet high cliff face. He was climbing the high cliff using a rope as the enemy bunker began firing rockets. Yadav was hit by three bullets in his groin and shoulder. Despite being severely injured, Yadav kept climbing and finished the remaining 60 feet to reach the top of the cliff. Though in immense pain, Yadav crawled to the first enemy bunker and lobbed a grenade, which killed four Pakistani soldiers and set back the enemy fire. The brave Shershah of Kargil : Vikram Batra

“Tiranga lehrake aaunga, nehi toh usmein lipat ke aaunga. Lekin aaunga zarur”. - Vikram Batra. Capitan Vikram Batra was born on 9th September in Ghuggar village, Palampur. He belonged from a middle-class background. He was very well known among his batch mates and teachers as he was an allrounder.  Captain Vikram Batra joined 13 JAK Raf as a lieutenant after completing his education. Vikram Batra.
